It's Christmas time ... and to all LIBC members and friends Lady President Milka VOGT and I hope you all keep safe and have a wonderful time over the festive season ... Oh, and I suggest that our club President Peter HANDLEY would also endorse that message to all bowlers regardless of whatever club they are a member of ... A Very Merry Christmas to you all ... Well, it's been a strange season so far, I don't remember when we have had so many days that we have had to cancel due to the weather conditions, this season has for the want of a better word been a bit skinny to say the least, the ladder certainly shows that some teams are languishing in positions that are unfamiliar to them simply because they cannot get out there to play ... however the story is that there is a real chance of catching up those missed days and perhaps changing the ladder positions for some ... I know LICB and one or two other clubs would welcome the opportunity to get out there and notch up a few scalps ... we hold our breath in anticipation of the outcome ... ( Watch this space as they say in the classics )
The LIBC is a very friendly family orientated club and our members and thier guests always enjoy themselves when out on the green and in the clubhouse ... our LIBC Family & Social Days are special days and we invite you to attend and join in the fun with us.
